Roland oversees the delivery, development and coordination of Donlin Recano’s services, systems and teams. Roland has been a member of our team for over 15 years. Prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer, Roland was a Managing Director at Donlin Recano and head of its special projects group. Roland has played key strategic roles in extraordinary client engagements that require a unique blend of logistical, technological and management expertise applied under adverse circumstances. Roland has also served as the Global Head of Investor Relations Consulting for D. F. King Worldwide, a global financial communications and stakeholder management firm; as Chief Executive Officer of Taylor Rafferty, a global investor relations firm with offices in New York, London, Hong Kong and Taipei; and in numerous C-suite positions in Broadgate Consultants, a strategic advisor to alternative asset managers. He served as a Major in the United States Marine Corps infantry, completing combat tours in the Balkans and Iraq. Roland double majored in History and German Literature at Yale University and received a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. He sits on the board of the Stone Trust Corporation and is fluent in German.
